After completing my dual degree in Psychiatry and Neurology, I worked with patients for over 30 years. My goal is to ensure that all biological, psychological, and social components are properly analyzed so that each patient receives the most comprehensive care.
I enjoy playing piano and appreciate how the relationship between each note and chord creates a masterpiece. This appreciation reminds me of how important a relationship can be and this is something I try emulate with everyone I work with.
Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, I earned my degree in Osteopathy from New York Institute Of Technology and soon after facilitated my residency in North Shore Hospital in Long Island. Having practiced family medicine for over 18 years, it gives me great pride to see the strength and resilience of today’s families and how they can grow together in good health and wellbeing.
I enjoy traveling around the world and meeting different people, but I also realize that many great sights, sounds and people are right here in New York as well.
After graduating from the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University, I completed my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I wanted to become a Gynecologist because it’s one of the few areas of medicine that gives me the opportunity to build relationship with other women, as I work with them every step of the way from preconception all the way to childbirth.
When I’m not at work, I love to bake. A delicious cake is always a great reminder that with right ingredients anything is possible.
As a practicing neurologist for over two decades, I can honestly say that I have never witnessed a staff that is as dedicated as staff at IDCC. At IDCC, we have access to interdisciplinary teams that include the likes of psychiatrists, cardiologists, internists, psychologists, physical and occupational therapists, and all of us share the common goal of providing our patients with the best possible care.
One aspect that makes my job so rewarding is that when working with a patient, I feel that I not only improving their life, but the lives of their loved ones as well.
As director of operations I oversees the integration of all patient care activity, ensuring the highest quality and safety for patients all who visit IDCC Health. The task I take the most pride in is making sure that our facility is inviting and accommodating to those of all religions, ethnicities and backgrounds.
Playing tennis is a beloved hobby of mine. I look at tennis as a metaphor for my job, in that even when many tasks are “thrown” at me, I looking forward to serving each one with a smile.
